There’s An Amusement Park Perfect For Summer Opening Up In Connecticut

If you're still looking for somewhere to check out, look into Quassy Amusement Park. This is one of the oldest amusement parks in the country, having opened up way back in 1908. The park will be opening for the 2022 season on Saturday, April 23, and the water rides and beach will be opening on May 28.

Quassy has been loved by generations of Nutmeg State residents for its 20+ rides, including the popular Wooden Warrior coaster.

The real treat on a hot summer's day, though, is a visit to Splash Away Bay Water Park at Quassy.

The park features water rides for kids and adults of all ages, including 15 fun water slides.

Saturation Station was the first water attraction at Quassy, and it's a favorite of many. There's nothing like the thrill of waiting for the 300-gallon bucket to fill up and tip over on you!

There are smaller water slides and a splash pad available for young guests.

Tired and prefer to just chill? No problem, Quassy Beach is here for that!

The little lakeside beach will allow you to take a dip in the water or relax in the sun, whichever you prefer.
