There Is A Massive Flower Festival Headed To Connecticut In February
The Connecticut Flower and Garden Show offers a vibrant escape from winter with diverse garden displays and expert seminars.
The doldrums of winter are real. Winter in Connecticut can be dreary. Don’t get us wrong; the snow is gorgeous, but it can be tough seeing it for months on end. And don’t even get us started on shoveling off driveways and scraping ice from cars! If you find yourself looking forward to the greenery of spring, you might want to get a head start on the season and start planning your garden now. One great place to get started with that is to check out the Connecticut Flower and Garden Show. The annual event will be held on the weekend of February 24-27, 2022 at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford.
This massive flower show in Connecticut will be the only major flower and garden show to be held in New England in 2022.
No matter your level of gardening experience or what kind of garden you're looking to build, there's something for you here.
The exhibition hosts great examples of rock gardens, gardens designed to attract pollinators, vegetable gardens, herb gardens, and more. There's also more than 80 hours of seminars from experts in the field.
There are dozens of booths at the show, all stocked with patio furniture, gardening books, seeds, fresh flowers, and more.
Not a homeowner? No problem, you're still able to find great tips and tricks here for window gardens and container gardens.
The Federated Garden Clubs of Connecticut’s annual flower show will be held here, with 12,000 square feet of gorgeous entrants. Arrangements, photography, and garden designs will all be entered.
This flower show in Connecticut is a great opportunity to add some color to your weekend at a time when you may be feeling the winter blues.
