1. Sailfest (New London) is from July 8 to July 10.

2. Quassy Amusement Park (Middlebury) does 3-D fireworks on July 4.

3. Enfield Fourth of July Celbration (Enfield) is July 10 at 9:45.

So many folks flock to this celebration because the entire town comes to life for a whole weekend! Come and enjoy the food, games, and entertainment as you celebrate the red, white and blue.

4. Mortensen Riverfront Plaza (Hartford) hosts fireworks July 9 at 10pm.

Home to the largest Independence Day celebration in the state, this award-winning show can be seen from either side of the Connecticut River. The backdrop of the Hartford skyline is simply incredible.

5. Bayley Beach (Rowayton) has a show July 4 at 9:15pm.

Welcome to one of the best kept secrets in Connecticut. This thirty minute show is launched from a barge just of shore and known for its selection of large, bright, fireworks. The reflection in the sea gives the illusion of two sets of fireworks, lighting up the sky and the water. Plus who doesn't love spending the Fourth of July on the beach, right?
