The Unique Village In Colorado Where Time Stands Still

Vail, Colorado, offers a charming, European-like village experience with unique events, dining, and scenic beauty.

When it comes to state-of-the-art technology and technological careers, Colorado is ahead of it's time. As someone who is married to a network engineer, I tend to notice (and hear about) the technological side of things more than others, which makes me pine for simplicity. If you are like me and love the simpler things, let's make plans to meet at this charming Colorado village where time stands still:

A trip to Vail will make you swear you've left the Centennial State and found yourself in a quaint European town.

Founded as the base village for Vail Ski Resort in 1966, Vail has broken free from the ski town stereotypes and offers such unique events as the Taste of Vail and Vail Film Festival...

The delicious Taste of Vail will run April 3-6, 2019 and the dates for the next Vail Film Festival are TBA.

...secret gardens and other hidden gems...

Pictured is the must-see Betty Ford Alpine Gardens, which was founded by the Vail Alpine Garden Foundation in 1985 and later named for former first lady Betty Ford (who had a well-known love of gardening).

...and countless dining options, making Vail a true foodie destination!

We recommend Game Creek Club (pictured above). This is one mountain dining experience you won't soon forget!

While the town itself is amazing, its surrounding scenes make it all the more incredible. Let's take a peek, shall we?

Sunset over beautiful Gore Creek... unreal, right?

It isn't just the summer and winter that are beautiful here; autumn is a fantastically colorful season!

This vibrant photo shows off the valley bluffs and hillside aspens.

Seriously; is this real life?

No matter the season, you will always find something to love about this charming mountain village.
