The Art Cartopia Car Museum In Colorado Is The Very Definition Of Quirky
Art Cartopia Car Museum in Trinidad, Colorado, features unique art cars and hosts special events with free admission.
Colorado is a "weird" state (I'm a native, so I can say it!), as we have more quirky attractions than most other states combined. Have you ever wanted to visit some of these attractions? We recommend starting with the one and only Art Cartopia Car Museum in southern Colorado.
Editor's Note: Unfortunately, Art Cartopia Museum has been permanently closed.
Welcome to the "Greatest Art Car Museum on Earth" (if not the only one!), which is conveniently located in Trinidad.
As the museum's name suggests, Art Cartopia is home to dozens of cars, only unlike other car museums, each car is a full-blown art exhibit complete with various themes.
Featuring 25 cars from various area creatives, Art Cartopia has everything from an elaborate dragon to a car being driven by a giant skeleton to the iconic "EyeVan" and much more.
In addition to all of the above, Art Cartopia also participates in Trinidad's annual ArtoCade art car festival and even hosts several of its own special events, including an aptly named Trash n' Fashion Show, Creativity Summit, and more.
Do you need another reason to visit this quirky masterpiece? Admission is FREE!
