As a busy work-from-home mom, wife, and red-blooded human, I often dream of vacationing in some kind of a fantasy world where all of your problems disappear and you can escape the hustle of everyday life. While such a place may not fully exist (with the exception of Disney World and Hawaii, of course), this Colorado museum may have the answer, and it’s guaranteed to transport you into a fantasy world. Check it out:
Located in the Denver suburb of Englewood lies the Museum of Outdoor Arts.
The museum recently debuted its newest exhibit: Natura Obscura.
This immersive arts experience feels like stepping into a vibrant painting.
Created by more than 20 different artists, Natura Obscura promises a one-of-a-kind sensory experience, thanks to its many different sights, smells, and sounds at every corner.
Billed as "part art museum and part virtual reality experience," Natura Obscura boasts some of the latest technologies as features in this exhibit, which usually takes at least an hour to tour.
Tickets for Natura Obscura begin at $10 per person, with free admission for children under age one. This special exhibit will run through April 28, 2019, so you have plenty of time to plan your visit - though you may be drawn back again and again to explore all it has to offer.
Bonus: you can purchase discounted tickets on the Museum of Outdoor Arts’ website here!
The Museum of Outdoor Arts is located at 1000 Englewood Pkwy. #230 in Englewood and is open Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
