Super Nintendo World In Southern California Is Officially Confirmed For Universal Studios
Universal Studios Hollywood will open a Super Nintendo World theme park in Southern California in 2023, centered around the Mario franchise.
Hold onto your controllers, video game fans! We have some great news for you. Universal Studios Hollywood has finally confirmed the rumors that a Super Nintendo World theme park will be opening in Southern California in 2023. The first Super Nintendo World opened up in Japan in March 2021. Additional parks have already been announced in Orlando and Singapore, and are expected to open next year. The Southern California location is also expected to open in 2023, though no date has been announced yet.
The park is expected to be largely centered around the immensely popular Mario franchise.

If it's anything like the existing park in Japan, it's going to be a blast.
The park in Japan has fun rides, including an augmented reality track that puts you in a Mario Kart race and a Yoshi's Island-themed ride.
Super Mario World in Southern California is already under construction and is set to open in 2023, though Nintendo has not announced an exact date yet.
The park is in the Lower Lot level of Universal Studios Hollywood, near the Transformers and Jurassic Park areas of the park.
Nintendo and Universal Studios Hollywood are keeping tight-lipped about the details, but we know that this park is one that will be a dream come true for video game fans.
