The Man-Made Wonder in Arizona Is the Definition of a Hidden Gem
Visiting the Amitabha Stupa and Peace Park, a serene and unique man-made wonder in Arizona, is quite an extraordinary experience.
While we have covered natural wonders aplenty throughout Arizona, there are numerous man-made wonders here that are just as jaw-dropping and awe-inspiring. Sure, there's no place quite like the Grand Canyon, our most famous natural wonder that also happens to be one of the world's seven natural wonders. However, visiting some of our man-made wonders including the Amitabha Stupa and Peace Park, a serene attraction in Sedona and a unique man-made wonder in Arizona, is quite an extraordinary experience.
Surrounded by Sedona's red rocks is one of the most unique man-made wonders in Arizona located in the Amitabha Stupa and Peace Park. This park is a place of peace and serenity where visitors can spend time praying or meditating and taking in the unbelievable views Sedona is known for.

Central to the park is the Amitabha Stupa, a dome-like structure that's inspired by Tibetan architecture. Flanked by prayer flags with Sedona's stunning landscape as a backdrop, it's a peaceful and harmonious place to spend time. Its concept was originally conceived by Jetsunma Ahkon Lhamo, the Spiritual Director of Kunzang Palyul Chöling. Since it was built, people from all over the world have visited.
The park is where Palyul, a specific branch of Tibetan Buddhism, is practiced. However, you don't have to be Buddhist to visit —everyone is welcome to come here for prayer and meditation and the views. It even offers weekly meditation classes if you're not certain how to meditate or don't want to do it on your own. Take a look at the schedule online for days and times.

Set on 14 acres, the Peace Park is all outdoors...and who wouldn't want to spend time outdoors in Sedona? Visiting the park is also free, open during daylight, and welcoming to all. Just keep in mind that this is a peaceful place so respect other visitors by keeping voices down.
