Every holiday season, the Dena'ina Center transforms into a magical Christmas extravaganza. Head to the Christmas Village and you will be wrapped in a world of Christmas magic. The 11th Annual Christmas Village is a fun-filled event with lots to do for everyone. Explore the beautiful handmade goods by local artisans as you bask in the holiday glow that surrounds Christmas Village.
Saturday, December 15, 2018 10 AM – 6 PM
Dena’ina Civic and Convention Center – 600 W. 7th Avenue
Christmas Village transforms the enormous convention center into a bustling Santa's workshop. Local artists of all sorts come to offer their wares.
The artisans feature a large variety of Alaska-made and imported arts and crafts, furs, gifts and foods. Get lost for hours with the free snacks and activities.
The event has no cover charge and is free and open to the public. You can even take your own photos with Santa on your phone free of charge.
Visit the friendly vendors throughout the building and see what fun items you can send to those far away, a piece of Alaska.
