Make Your Summer Epic With A Visit To This Hidden Alaska Water Park

H2Oasis is Alaska's only indoor water park, offering a variety of water attractions for all ages.

There is a water park in Alaska and it is everything. The only indoor water park in the state, H2Oasis is simply that, an oasis. With all the features you'd expect from a water park from slides to hut tubs, this place has it all. At the time it was opened in 2003, it was the fifth largest indoor water park in the world! An excellent adventure for the whole family, check out Alaska's water park to complete your epic summer.

The water park is on the Seward Highway at 1520 O'Malley Road in Anchorage. Map to H2Oasis here.

Alaska's largest (and only) indoor water park has a capacity of 500 people in the pool and 1400 in the building, making it large enough for large group waterpark adventures for school trips or birthday parties.

The Wave Pool is 6 feet at deepest sloping to 1 foot at the shallow end. Other features include a Lazy River, a Children's Lagoon and a Splash Pool.

The Lazy River is a 575 Foot Long river that circles the park, allowing you to travel throughout without getting out of the water. The Children's Lagoon features a pirate ship with four water canons!

The Master Blaster will require the rider to be at least 42 inches tall. The slide is an intense, long water slide only for the most daring. An easier Body Slide is available for riders at least 36 inches tall. And a hot tub is for those over 16.

The water temperature is a balmy 84 degrees and the ambient air temperature is above that, even in the winter, which makes this a great outing any time of year. With swim lessons and water exercise classes, there's water fun for everyone.
