1. Seward
Like the majority of the population (and visitors from all over the world), join the crowd and head to The Kenai, Alaska's Playground, for an unforgettable weekend in Seward. Watch wild marathon racers sprint up the 3,022-foot mountain filled with shale, or join in on the action first hand. In town you can enjoy tons of vendors, great music, delicious food and a spectacular fireworks show at the end of the day under the midnight sun.
2. Anchorage
Anchorage’s Delaney Park Strip is where all the Independence Day festivities come to life. The Go Fourth celebration kicks things off early with a parade filled with so much fun that you're sure to never forget. Enjoy rides, games, delicious food, unforgettable fun and nonstop entertainment. End the day by watching a super awesome baseball game followed by bright, sparkling fireworks.
3. Girdwood

8. Ketchikan
The town really comes to life on Independence Day! Enjoy a fun parade put on by the Chamber of Commerce followed by a late night fireworks show.
9. Valdez
Spend an epic weekend in Valdez starting on Friday, July 1st! Enjoy fun games, a fun run, softball tournament and live music. End your Independence Day on Monday around 10pm with a stunning fireworks display over the boat harbor.
