The farm itself isn't open to the public, but the Mitchell family is hard at work there seven days a week.
Ice cream is rooted deep in our nation's history (did you know George Washington was a big fan?), and Woodside Farm Creamery ice cream is made in nearly the same way as it was when our country was brand new.

Each morning just after dawn and each night just before dusk, the Jersey cows are milked. It's then batch pasteurized and homogenized before the addition of sugars and other ingredients necessary to turn the milk into the sweet cream that will be the ice cream base.
