The Massive Family Campground In Delaware That’s The Size Of A Small Town
Delaware is a state full of tiny towns where you won’t find much more than homes, veggie gardens, and a slew of adorable animals. When you want to get away from the quiet rural life, it seems like there’s no in-between. Our beaches are slammed with traffic and crowds from May to September, and even our bay towns struggle to balance the quiet life with shorefront amenities. There’s one place in Delaware where it seems to be the perfect balance of relaxing, serene, and fun.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate
The Resort at Massey's Landing is one of the biggest campgrounds in Delaware, and this full-fledged resort has more amenities than most of Delaware's small towns.
Perhaps the best thing that this Delaware campground offers is the private beach. Enjoy a break from the crowds you're used to and relax on your own beach chair with plenty of space to call your own.
On second thought... the swim-up beach bar is the best thing that Massey's offers. You don't even have to get out of the water to pick up another margarita!
There's also a full-service bar and restaurant here. Visit Paradise Grill for live entertainment, great snacks and meals, and a perfectly mixed cocktail.
When you're looking for a great getaway without the crowds of the beach but still full of incredible amenities, this giant Delaware campground is the place to be.
