Mystic is one of our favorite small towns in Connecticut. This little village has fewer than 5,000 people residing in it, but it’s home to some of the best museums in the state. It’s also got a phenomenal shopping district in Olde Mystick Village, which is designed to look like a colonial New England town. Between all the attractions here and the magnificent waterfront scenery, it’s easy to see why it’s one of the most popular tourist destinations in the state.
