This Waterfront Cottage In Connecticut May Just Be Your New Favorite Destination
Mystic is one of our favorite small towns in Connecticut. This little village has fewer than 5,000 people residing in it, but it’s home to some of the best museums in the state. It’s also got a phenomenal shopping district in Olde Mystick Village, which is designed to look like a colonial New England town. Between all the attractions here and the magnificent waterfront scenery, it’s easy to see why it’s one of the most popular tourist destinations in the state. Next time you’re planning a trip to Mystic, CT, we’ve got the perfect place to spend the night. This waterfront cottage in Mystic is a beautiful little vacation rental that is, quite literally, overhanging a lake. You can’t get much closer to the water without being in it. Check it out:

This 1933 house was once a summer cottage, but it's now been renovated to serve as a year-round vacation rental. It's a great place to soak up the sun and enjoy all the wonderful vibes this quaint little town offers.
You'll be just a 10-minute drive from the center of Mystic, so close enough to enjoy all the amenities, but far enough away to enjoy peaceful seclusion.
Lisa loves animals and has dogs, rats, cats, guinea pigs, and snakes. She is passionate about animal rescue and live music - traveling across the country to see a favorite band is a pretty regular occurrence! Being out hiking in the woods enjoying the scenery with her beloved dogs is another favorite hobby, and also checking out the Pokemon Go scene in whatever city she happens to be in at any given time (coffee and dog leash in hand).
