Explore A 2-Mile Loop Through Shimmering Cascades At Brian E. Tierney Preserve In Connecticut
Escape from the crowds and surround yourself with nature. The Brian E. Tierney Preserve, located in Roxbury, is one of Connecticut’s lovely hidden gems. Here, you can stroll under shady trees, listen to rippling cascades, and walk through a peaceful meadow. This scenic loop trail clocks in at just under 2 miles, so it’s the perfect length for a peaceful afternoon adventure.

When you see reach this landmark, turn right and walk in the southwest direction. This will lead you to a stunning shaded trail.

Be sure to wear good shoes! While this pathway isn't terribly long, it can get steep and rocky in some areas.
