This seafood restaurant in Guilford bills itself as "an unusual restaurant" - and that it is. It's got a great communal vibe with outdoor dining surrounding a fire pit. Between the delicious food and the amazing ambiance, this is one place you won't want to leave! It's open seasonally from late April to October, and it's the perfect way to celebrate summer and fall in the Nutmeg State.

The Place is like nowhere you've eaten before. The restaurant is outdoors, and instead of chairs, the tables have log stumps. "Put your rump on the stump" and settle in for a great meal.

You place your order from a menu that's above the entire dining area.

There's a giant circus tent that provides some shade during the day. This certainly lacks the elegance of a fine dining establishment, but there are few places more charming than this!

The food is cooked over a giant open fire pit. Seafood, steak, chicken, and roasted corn are all available.

You're welcome to bring your own sides, and your own beer. Many bring candles or tablecloths to add to the ambiance.

We highly recommend the corn! It's so addictive and after tasting it roasted over a fire, you won't want to have it any other way.
