These are wonderful spots to visit, with lots of aspects that are unique to our region and state, but we do understand that sometimes you're in the mood for something a little bizarre. Don't worry, there are plenty of unique attractions in Connecticut that are also waiting to be explored! The place we're featuring today is more than a little bit off-the-wall. Hogpen Hill Farms in Litchfield County is a unique outdoor art installation spanning more than 234 acres. The farm is home to a unique sculpture park in Woodbury, CT that has around 100 magnificent works of art, many built at a massive scale, and the collection is unlike anything you've ever seen. Check it out:

The park is the brainchild of Edward Tufte, a statistician at Yale who is nicknamed ET.

The nickname is quite fitting, as some of the of the pieces appear almost otherworldly.

Hogpen Hill Farms is only open to the public at certain times of the year.

Admission is charged per car, so it's best to go with a group if you're able to.

Note that there is quite a bit of walking over unpaved paths and rolling hills, so this isn't the best option for those with mobility issues.

But if you're able to make the trek, what a magnificent treat this place is! The sculptures are placed so that they blend in perfectly with the natural surroundings.

The materials that make up the sculptures vary, with some being natural stone and others metal.

But since they're all by the same artist, there are similarities that you will notice as you walk through the farm's grounds.

This is such a special place to visit in Woodbury, and it's truly one of the strangest attractions in Connecticut.
