There’s A Dinosaur-Themed Playground And Splash Pad In Connecticut Called The Dinosaur Place

One of the highlights at Nature's Art Village, The Dinosaur Place is far from your average splash pad and playground. The dinosaur-sized theme park features 60 acres of fun, including a chance to cool off at New England's largest splash pad and explore a dinosaur maze and Jurassic-era nature trail.
The fun begins by getting up close to 50 life-sized dinosaurs on the nature trail. You never think about how huge these dinosaurs were until you're standing underneath a 40-foot tall Brachiosaurus that you could drive a car under.
The 1.5-mile dinosaur trails and caves give you a hands-on Jurassic-era educational experience with touch and learn activities and surprises your family will love. Follow the trail to Raptor Bay and get a view of the seven-acre manmade lake. You'll even be able to feel the rumblings of the volcano underneath the lake.
The A-"maze"-asaurus is a fun twist and turns maze that your children will love. Not only will they have fun getting through the puzzle, but they'll also laugh as they slide out of a T-rex's mouth to escape the maze.
There is so much to play with at the splash pad you may never want to leave. You'll find more than 30 dinosaur features, from dueling T-rex and Velociraptor water cannons to a dinosaur ribcage waterfall—and dumping buckets for older children and adults.
If your children still have plenty of energy left, they will have a blast playing on Monty's Playground with its 3-D structure, jungle gyms for all skill levels, and a massive Pachyrhinosaurus skull. They'll especially enjoy the swinging and vibrating climbing web.
