Walk Over A Gorgeous Bridge On The Bee Brook Loop, An Easy 2-Mile Hike In Connecticut
Sometimes, we all ache for the tranquil bliss only nature can bring. If you need to unplug and relax, take a trip to Hidden Valley Preserve in Washington Depot, Connecticut. This astonishing destination is home to several stunning hiking trails, but none are as incredible as the Bee Brook Loop. This easy 2-mile hike is home to bright foliage and a jaw-dropping bridge.

Though this trail is relatively flat, there is one moderate incline. We recommend starting the loop from the left side so you get the uphill portion out of the way.

Etched into the steel handrails are quotes from Henry David Thoreau's famous writings. This bridge isn't just a foot crossing -- it's a work of art.

The Bee Brook Loop is just one of the incredible attractions inside Hidden Valley Preserve. This 700-acre natural oasis is also a fantastic place to ride horses, fish and kayak. To learn more about the available amenities, visit Hidden Valley Preserve's website.
