When the weather’s nice and you’re feeling up for adventure, few things are better than visiting a state park. I find there’s nothing better than stretching my legs on a scenic trail when I need to clear my head from my worries and stresses. There are plenty of amazing state parks in Connecticut and, not surprisingly, many of them are located in our small towns. These towns may not have many residents or much development, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t home to tons of natural beauty. One of the Nutmeg State’s most underrated parks is Hurd State Park in East Hampton, CT. Check it out:
