Howdy folks! Celebrate an Olde Golden Christmas for the entire month of December in historic downtown Golden, with carolers, an elk run, a candlelight walk, Santa encounters, and more!


Nothing says Colorado Christmas like open-air ice skating! From mid to late December Evergreen Lake Park and Lake House welcome one and all to skate the frozen lake, then head into the heart of downtown Evergreen to visit the charming shops and restaurants and do a little Christmas shopping.


Enjoy light displays, holiday shopping, horse-drawn wagon rides, and more at Historic Georgetown's 55th Annual Georgetown Christmas Market. From the Annual Tree Lighting on November 28th to the Jingle Singers on December 13th, there are loads of family fun-filled activities for all. (Anyone recognize the Busy Bee Cab that appeared in the John Denver movie "The Christmas Gift"!?!?)



There are many holiday events in this quaint little ski town throughout the month of December, including the Lighting of Breckenridge and the famed Race of the Santas, which kick off Breck's holiday season on December 3rd. Other fantastic festivities include a Handmade Holiday Craft Market, a Bernese Mountain Dog Parade, visits with Santa, and more!


This year's Christmas at Copper promises to dazzle audiences on Christmas Eve with a Torchlight Parade down Main Vein and a children’s Glowstick Pageant, as well as cookies and milk with jolly old St. Nick and a stunning fireworks display over the mountain.


During the holidays, Downtown Boulder transforms into a charming and brightly lit Christmas village, with special events which include St. Nick on the Bricks, Painting "Snowflakes on Pearl Street," and the 29th Annual Lights of December Parade (on Saturday, December 3, 2016).

Situated at an impressive 10,152 feet, the storybook town of Leadville is filled with gingerbread-like houses and hosts their annual Victorian Homes Tour and Parade of Lights on Friday, December 3rd and Saturday, December 4th, which includes visits from Santa and Mrs. Claus, a five-course Victorian dinner, and more!
