What are some nice getaway spots in Denver?
Denver is a beautiful city with a lot to offer, and in many ways, it’s the perfect place to get away from it all (without actually getting away from it all). There are lots of beautiful hotels and bed and breakfasts to check out (and we’ll get to those in a minute). A visit to Denver Botanical Gardens is always a good time, and we also really love romantic walks around City Park – but what if you’re looking for a little more than just that? Well, you’re in luck! There are so many beautiful getaway destinations that it’s hard to list them all, but one of our favorites is Roxborough State Park, which is absolutely breathtaking and perfect for a quick (or lengthy getaway). The Boulder Flatirons are another absolutely amazing place to escape to, be it for a day or longer, and Red Rocks is to die for. We also have to mention Chautauqua Park! For more of our favorite jaw-dropping places in Denver, check out this list!
Where are the best places to stay in Denver?
As we mentioned above, there are lots of amazing places all over (and nearby) Denver. For example, The Ramble Hotel is a beautiful, one-of-a-kind place to relax and unwind. It’s a 50-room boutique hotel unlike any you’ll find anywhere else. If you like what you see there, definitely check out the Art Hotel Denver and HALCYON. You’ll also want to look into local hostels, especially if you prefer a more low-key, laid-back experience. Hostels are affordable and often reflect a more communal setting, so those who prefer their relaxing to be more on the social side will love those! Quite possibly the most famous of them all is the Hostel Fish, which is equal parts artsy and laid back.
