Arkansas is a hub for mountain bike enthusiasts. Some have traveled from faraway places just to ride on our incredible trails. While we have many bike trails sprinkled throughout the state, there is one bike park that stands out among the rest. And that park is the Railyard Bike Park in Rogers Arkansas. It’s a one-of-a-kind railroad-themed playground that is like something from your childhood dreams.
Bikers, grab your gear and ride the best biking complex in Northwest Arkansas. The Railyard Bike Park is located on Cherry Street on the east side of Rogers.
This unique sport complex was first opened in 2015 and renovated in 2020 to include paved and smoother surfaces. The park is open year-round from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Do check the Facebook page for closing due to bad weather.
Not only is this a park for cyclists, but it’s a fun place for the entire family. There’s a natural playground with slides for the little ones, and there’s also a dog park for the fur babies.
And best of all, the landing areas are made from a rubber asphalt material. It makes it safer in case of a fall or an accident. Always wear helmets and protective gear for safety.
While the trails are great, the main highlight of the park is the railroad car that you can ride through using the beginner line.
Also, the playground is attached to other multi-level use trails in Rogers, including one that leads to nearby Lake Atalanta. So, be sure to go off track and enjoy the scenic ride to the lake.
Not only is the Railyard an awesome bike park, but it’s a fantastic place for the entire family. Just pack some lunch, grab the kids and the dogs, and spend the day at this railroad-themed playground in Northwest Arkansas.
