When it first opened in 2004, it was a typical mini mart, but not for long. Shortly after opening, the owner Rose, an Iran native, began whipping up falafel sandwiches and international pastries.

Initially, the overseas grub wasn’t a hit. In fact, during the first three years, Rose had to throw a lot of it out.

Eventually, though, it caught on and Rose Stop International Delicacy evolved into what it is today – a market stocked with Mediterranean, Persian, and South American groceries.
