The Frozen Treats From This Marvelous Arkansas Creamery Are Almost Too Wonderful To Be Real

Got a sweet tooth to satisfy? Take a chill pill and head to Trash Creamery, a totally rad 1980s-themed ice cream shop. The bodacious theme isn’t the only thing that makes the creamery unique, though. There’s also the fact that customers get to play mixologist and create the sweet treats of their dreams.

Brimming with 80s vibes, Trash Creamery in Bentonville serves up some sweet nostalgia!

One of the state’s newer ice cream shops, it opened in 2019 – and has been dazzling diners with its retro charm ever since.

It may be on the newer side, but stepping inside is like stepping back in time! Not only is there a collection of retro toys and games for diners’ use, but there’s a big screen, where the decade’s hits are played on repeat.

The menu is also undeniably 80s. The decade was all about excess, and that mentality has been transferred to the menu, which is overflowing with an excess of flavors.

The best part of all is that you are in control of those flavors since you get to play mixologist and create the custom dessert of your dreams.

So, how does it work? The process is simple. First, you choose your flavor of ice cream – vanilla or chocolate.

Then, you’ll select a vessel – waffle cone or cup. Finally, you’ll pick from dozens of add-ins to “trash it up.”

The add-ins are definitely the sweetest part of the entire process. There are roughly 60 to choose from!

And with everything from fruit and cereal to candy and cookies, you should have no problem finding a few (or several!) that pique your palate.

Don’t want to play mixologist? No problem. There’s an Ultimate Mix Tape menu, which features a variety of tried-and-true ice-cream-and-topping combos.

Serving up a sweet taste of the 80s, Trash Creamery is, like, totally awesome!
