This cozy cabin in Gentry is the Wooden Spoon. It's a short drive south of town at 1021 S Gentry Blvd., Gentry, AR 72734.

You'll instantly feel at home as soon as you step on the porch.

The restaurant has been open for nearly a decade but the building's history dates back much further. The structure was originally built to be a horse barn around 1870 in Michigan but was later disassembled and moved to Gentry. Since then, the Klassen family has preserved the original building as well as added a larger dining hall.

They even have an adorable little shop to peruse.

It's filled with home decor, printed flour-sack tea towels, homemade greeting cards, and more.

Every entree tastes like a fantastic home cooked meal.

Whether you order a savory meat and potato dish or a crispy garden salad, the made-from-scratch wholesomeness makes every meal simply taste like heaven.

And of course your out-of-this-world experience wouldn't be complete without dessert.

Their Bumblebee Pie is simply divine but so are the brownies. If you're having a difficult time choosing a sweet we suggest ordering the Dessert Sampler. It's three surprisingly large portions off their dessert menu that will satisfy every sweet tooth craving.
