It may be too hot outside for cider and sweaters but that doesn't mean fall can't be enjoyed in Arkansas. One particular family farm has the perfect place to take advantage of the warmer start of the season. Let's visit the Peebles Farm and frolic through the most beautiful field of sunflowers you'll ever see.
Pumpkin patches and corn mazes are a must for the season, but they're not the only fall activities offered at Peebles Farm.
This beloved farm is located halfway between Augusta and McCrory at Co Rd 249, Augusta, AR 72006.
In addition to these other fall favorites, the Peebles Farm also has a gorgeous field of sunflowers.
Peebles' sunflower field was in the top ten of Southern Living's "Most Beautiful Sunflower Fields in the South." Your jaw will drop after you see the endless field for the first time.
The field is perfect for family photos...
Visiting the field is included in the $8 general admission. Pictures for families, weddings, or just-because are all welcomed.
...or just a fun fall frolic.
Just keep in mind that in order to keep the field endless, no picking is allowed. You can buy one of the sunny keepsakes in the general store, though!
This year the farm will be offering horse-drawn wagon rides through the sunflowers.
Rides will be $3 through the fields.
Don't miss your chance to see these gorgeous flowers in bloom.
Early October is the peak flowering season, so start planning a visit soon! For more details about the farm, visit their website right here.
