Hidden Castle In Arkansas

What are some hidden gems in Arkansas?

Arkansas is a tragically underrated state, especially for nature lovers. Some of our favorite hidden gems in beautiful Arkansas include the breathtaking views from the Sugar Creek Vista Overlook, which is nestled in the Ouachita National Forest. Mirror Lake is intensely beautiful and has some great fishing, and so too does Mirror Lake, which has an amazing waterfall you’ve got to see to believe. Of course, there’s no shortage of man-made wonders, either, such as the old Rialto Theatre in southern Arkansas, and the old Boxley Valley Mill, which was built in 1840 (rebuilt in 1870) and still stands today. If offbeat things are more… well, your thing… you should check out the weird little wonder that is The Little Rock. That’s it. That’s what it is. It’s a rock, but its significance might just be something you find interesting. We sure did! For more of our favorite hidden gems in Arkansas, take a look at this article.

What are some true fairy tale places in Arkansas?

Arkansas has some amazing places all over that might remind you of something like a storybook fairy tale. It’s known for its lush, vibrantly green, and dense woods, picturesque waterfalls, and so much more. Some of the coolest, most fairy-tale places in Arkansas include Lake Leatherwood, Greers Ferry Lake, Lake Dardanelle, Seven Hollows Trail, Lee Creek Valley, Fuzzy Butt Falls (don’t laugh ‘til you check it out!), and so many more. There’s also the legendary Glory Hole Falls, which looks like something out of a sci-fi video game, and Cedar Creek Trail is a special kind of magic that we can’t help but totally love. Arkansas is also home to 52 state parks, each of which are beautiful and picturesque in its own ways. We think you’ll find plenty to love in this beautiful place – and lots of spots that look like something straight out of a fairy tale.
