This 2-Hour Drive Through Arkansas Is The Best Way To See This Year’s Fall Colors

We have finally reached peak fall color in the Natural State and the forests are absolutely glowing. Arkansans are lucky to have so many beautiful scenic drives from the Talimena to the Jasper Disaster. One of our favorites that highlights the foliage is the Boston Mountains Scenic Loop. Let’s pack some snacks and pick a playlist as we tour this gorgeous part of the state.

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now:

We would love to see your fall photos of this drive in our Facebook Group, Arkansas Nature Lovers. You should join for your chance to be featured and to discover why there’s nothing better than Arkansas’ stunning nature.

Another wonderful detour along the route is this whimsical state park that’s like something from a fairy tale.
