We all love a good scenic drive every now and then, and luckily we live in a state where scenery and views are abundant! Of course, everyone knows that Sedona has some of the best scenery in the state, and what better way to ogle over it than on a scenic drive? While Oak Creek Canyon Scenic Drive is my personal favorite in the state, there’s another one in the area that’s equally as beautiful. Dry Creek Scenic Road is an under-the-radar scenic drive in Arizona worth taking.

At only 7 miles, Dry Creek Road in Sedona is short and sweet, yet no less spectacular than longer scenic drives in terms of scenery.

If you love ogling over the iconic red rocks of Sedona, a drive along Dry Creek Road is for you. This was designated as a scenic road by the Arizona Department of Transportation in 1992, and it's certainly well-deserved.

Along the way, not only will you drive past Red Rock State Park but you'll be able to make stops along the way for the photo-worthy scenery.

Everywhere you look, you'll be able to take in the gorgeous landscape. The views in Sedona are jaw-dropping, to say the least.

The unpaved portion of Dry Creek Road will get you close to a trail you can hike to the Devil's Bridge. As the largest natural sandstone arch in the area and a stunning natural wonder, it's a popular spot in Sedona to visit. However, as this is an unpaved part of the road (FR 152) a high-clearance vehicle is strongly suggested.
