Between monsoons and oppressive heat, Arizona weather can be both unpredictable and downright dreadful. The need for fresh produce and other local goods never ceases, however, so we're lucky to have Superstition Ranch Market: a gigantic indoor destination for fruits, vegetables, and tons more artisan delicacies.
For over 50 years, this unassuming storefront and its sister location in Apache Junction have been providing Arizonans with high-quality produce at unbeatable prices. Open all year, the market is your one-stop shop for fresh fruits and vegetables, no matter the season.
Upon walking in, you'll be immediately taken aback by the vast array of colors. Everything looks as if it had just been picked that very morning!
Produce changes with the season which means, for instance, when fall arrives each year, apples will soon be ripe for the picking and you'll find them here at the market! Superstition offers more varieties than you probably even know exist, so come fully prepared to leave with (at least) one of each.
Tasting the rainbow continues with seemingly endless rows of vegetables. Weekly specials make the grocery run easy on your wallet - for example, green onions are 3/99 cents right now!
Much like an outdoor farmers market, produce is certainly not all that's offered. Raw honey, local baked goods and salsa, and authentic deli items allow customers to fully stock their kitchen with quality products.
Just in case you're still not sold, there's also candy from Cerreta. Fill up a bag with decadent chocolate bars, truffles, and tons more goodies to end your shopping trip on the sweetest note possible.
