For secluded primitive camping, Alamo Canyon Primitive Campground is found within the Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument. There are four campsites each with its own charcoal grill and picnic table. There are also vault toilets and trash cans available as well.

If you really want to get away from it all, Tuweep Campground at the Grand Canyon may be the place for you. Be forewarned, though, that it is quite challenging to get here and there are no amenities, no services for gas and food, or cell service. However, if you're up for the adventure and come prepared, you can camp overlooking the Colorado River with amazing views of the sunset and sunrise each day. A backcountry permit is required to access the area.
