The Little-Known Ruins In Arizona You Can Only Reach By Hiking This 1.6-Mile Trail

If you love exploring ancient ruins, there are few better places to be than Arizona. Our state is brimming with the remains of lost (but not forgotten) civilizations. One of the most underrated hikes to ancient ruins in Arizona is the Sears Kay Ruins Trail, located near Scottsdale. It leads to a 40-room Hohokam village occupied 1,000 years ago, serving as a portal into ancient history.

During these uncertain times, please keep safety in mind and consider adding destinations to your bucket list to visit at a later date.

To learn more about the hike, visit its page on AllTrails. Feel free to take photographs, but please remember to leave the ruins exactly as you found them for future generations to enjoy.
