A privately-owned cattle ranch near Winslow, this historic site has been home to various groups for the past 13,000 years.

Hunter-gatherers and both sedentary and semi-nomadic farmers have all left their own unique legacy on the land.

Over 3,000 petroglyphs have been discovered on the property, most dating to between 5000 B.C. and 1400 A.D.

Visitors can take a two-mile hike through towering stone escarpments, marveling at ancient depictions of animals, people, and other sacred symbols.

As is customary on a ranch, cattle and buffalo roam freely through the fields.

You'll also see excavated Anasazi dwellings, and a Navajo hogan and sweat lodge.
