There’s Nothing More Special Than An Evening On This 6,000-Square-Foot Natural Ice Skating Rink In Arizona
Ice skating around a giant Christmas tree at the mall will forever hold a special place in our hearts, but one Arizona hotel has taken that cherished holiday pastime to a whole new level. At the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, you can skate on a 6,000-square-foot rink made of real ice. Festivities run through January 3, so don’t waste any time!

Easter, the 4th of July, Halloween—you name it, and the Princess goes all-out in celebration. Christmas at the Princess, which runs through January 3, has been a holiday tradition for Valley families since 2009.

You can mingle with holiday characters, visit an ice bar, watch dazzling light shows, and even take a train ride through the decked-out resort grounds.

It's made of real ice, so you'll feel like a true figure skater.

This definitely beats an indoor mall ice rink!

Also, viewing and skate changing areas have been expanded this year to allow for compliance with social distancing guidelines.

The adjoining patio is heated, too! It's the coolest way to stay warm this holiday season.

Families will be at a safe social distance from Kris Kringle, but with a little Christmas magic, he looks a lot closer in the picture!
Masks are required to attend Christmas at the Princess, and other precautions have been taken to keep staff and guests safe. Visit the hotel’s website or Facebook page to learn more.
