Are there other ice skating rinks in Arizona?

There is nothing like lacing up your skates and gliding across the ice to get you in the mood for the holidays. In addition to the seasonal ice skating rink at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, Lake Havasu City also sets up a winter ice skating rink that's pure magic. Each year around Christmastime, Lake Havasu City transforms into a charming English holiday village. The iconic London Bridge is adorned with lighted wreaths, a boat parade passes beneath its arches, and an ice skating rink at the nearby resort offers nostalgic fun for all ages. Sparkly lights gleam overhead against a backdrop of festive pine trees rising up in all directions. It's a frozen winter wonderland that looks like something straight out of a movie! In between laps, sip a piping hot mug of cocoa on the sidelines to warm up your frigid, achy bones. Seasonal treats will also be available to give you energy for a continued night of fun on the ice and make holiday memories you'll cherish for years to come.

What are some other fun things to do during the winter in Arizona?

In addition to ice skating, we can never resist a good snow tubing excursion. Receiving over 100 inches of snow each year, Flagstaff is Arizona’s very own winter wonderland. Everyone knows about skiing at the Snowbowl, but did you know you can also go snow tubing in Arizona? Flagstaff Snow Park offers multiple lanes, so there’s plenty of space for everyone to enjoy the world of white. With multiple lanes, the park has amble space for everyone to enjoy some timeless, cold-weather fun.

Another snow tubing park in Arizona we simply adore is located at Greer Lodge Resort & Cabins. Every year from mid-November through March, the entire town of Greer transforms into a winter wonderland. Just minutes away from the lodge is a free sledding hill complete with public parking and restrooms. All you have to do is pick out a tube and get ready for the exhilarating ride! A concession stand offers seasonal drinks and snacks to warm both your soul and belly despite the harsh winter conditions. This is a good, old-fashioned sledding hill that's a really fun winter activity in Arizona.
