Nestled on the Colorado River between the Parker and Headgate Dams, Buckskin Mountain State Park is a scenic waterfront destination near the Arizona-California border.

All types of watercraft can be launched from the two-lane boat ramp, and the river boasts substantial populations of bass, catfish, and panfish. For swimming, a designated area near the day-use section of the park keeps the water calm and peaceful, with no threat of wakes from passing boats.
The trails range from quick strolls around the park to challenging backcountry treks, so there's something for all skill levels.
Taking you high above the river, the trails provide breathtaking aerial views of not only the deep blue water, but the entire park and the towering peaks that surround it, as well.
All campers are guaranteed unparalleled views of the river, and several sites are located right along the waterfront. Amenities include water and 30-amp electric, as well as BBQ grills and picnic tables. Nightly rates range from $35 to $45 per night, and reservations can be made online in advance of your stay.
