Can you bake? Some people have the knack, and others don't. If you live anywhere within driving distance (basically all of Arizona!) from this little restaurant, then you don't need to have a talent for baking pies. They're baked to perfection, and all ready to go when you get here!
Enter this charming little old home's front door in Show Low, AZ and step into the land of America's Pie Company, a bakery and restaurant all rolled into one.
Inside, you'll find a cozy and bright atmosphere, complete with all the feels of a living room turned into an eatery.
The eclectic bakery serves breakfast and lunch with delightful menu selections, including Pastrami on marble rye, chicken pot pie and a breakfast quiche, to name a few.
But over in the bakery... it's the pies that steal the show.
America's Pie Company bakes a variety of pies daily and offers them for sale at a mere $15. Who can resist this beautiful blackberry apple pie with a cutout leaftop crust? Beautiful!
Or, take home a more colorful dessert like the key lime pie or...
A cream-filled, strawberry pie destined to satisfy anyone's appetite for dessert.
If you want a special whole pie, your best best it to call at least 24 hours in advance and place an order. (Shown below is the cherry pie, topped with a lattice crust.)
You may want to order TWO — and bring a fork for the ride home. America's Pie Company is located approximately three hours northeast of Phoenix and two hours southeast of Flagstaff.
You'll find America's Pie Company at 1001 E Huning, Show Low, AZ 85901. It's open four days week: Wednesday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Place a pie order by calling them (on a day they're open, of course) at (928) 205-9162. Learn more on their official website.
