If you want to get out and enjoy everything that our state’s coldest season has to offer head on out to Girdwood. There you’ll find a winter beer garden in Alaska that’s filled with fire pits, tons of snow, and plenty of good cheer and beer. Pack up the family and enjoy winter in the outdoors!

Girdwood Brewing Company is a huge hit in this tiny ski town. Well known for its many amazing restaurants, Girdwood is now home to its very first brewery.

Or you can grab a pint and enjoy their outdoor beer garden. This famous ski town of Girdwood is the northernmost temperate rainforest in America, and they get their fair share of snow. If you’re a skier or snowboarder, when you finish your runs for the day, you have to swing by for a beer by the fire.
Their beers are brewed right here at the brewery, using local ingredients whenever possible.

They have a great selection of brews, with a couple of core flavors, and rotating seasonal choices. All their flavors are available to enjoy inside the beer garden. You’ll have great views, a cozy fire, and the tastiest beer around.
If you want the full dining experience, make sure to swing by when a food truck is nearby.

Six trucks make their rounds to the brewery, and someone is almost always there on Friday and Saturday nights. Check their website for the current list of food trucks that will drop by, and when to expect them.

You’ll find ramen by Izakaya, Turkish food from Bruceskis, pizza and wings from Mountain Pie, Guatemalan dishes from Mochileros, burgers, tacos and burritos from Blue Rista, and crepes from Crepes de Paris. There’s a huge spread of delicious dishes!
You can visit this fantastic place seven days a week.

They’re open daily from 12:00 p.m. through 8:00 p.m. Time it right, and grab some food with your excellent beers!
