Does Alaska have great restaurants?
Yes, without a doubt! Alaska is home to many fine dining options, plenty of casual eateries, and a pizza that was rated #3 in the entire United States of America! Alaskans love to go out and enjoy themselves after a day spent in our glorious outdoor spaces. The restaurants complement the lifestyle that Alaskans love to live.
Where can you find the best restaurants in Alaska?
The largest concentrations of restaurants can be found in the largest city of Anchorage. It’s studded with spectacular spots to eat, and there are hundreds to choose from each day that will blow you out of the water. But small towns like Girdwood are host to fine dining restaurants and spots that house James Beard Award nominees. Homer is home to dozens of amazing restaurants, and you’ll find every kind of place there from a creperie that serves delicious crepes for brunch, to juicy Alaskan seafood and more. There’s great places to eat everywhere!

Motivated by her love for the outdoors she moved to Alaska to attend school and to spend time exploring the last frontier. If she doesn’t have a pen in hand or her nose in a book, she can be found out on a lake or up in the woods around a fire with friends.
