The world’s largest ziprider is located right on Icy Strait Point in Hoonah, Alaska, and it's an absolute blast. Bring your family and friends, because this is one great trip you won’t want to miss.

The world’s largest ziprider is located in the tiny town of Hoonah, Alaska. Hoonah is located on Chichagof Island, on the Alaska panhandle. It’s located in Southeast Alaska, and the views from this area are spectacular.

The zipline starts at the top of a mountain and drops you 1,330 feet across the course. The entire course contains six different ziplines. Each zipline is 5,330 feet long. This is an incredible course that you won’t find anywhere else! You’ll exceed 60mph as you zip down the mountainside. You’ll soar an impressive 300 feet above the forest below you. You should be comfortable with heights to enjoy this ride to the fullest! Make sure you dress in layers, and bring rain gear with you. Dress in closed-toe shoes, and those with neck or back problems are not recommended to ride.

And of course, if you want photos of your adventure, you can purchase them at the end of your ride. You can also combine your ziprider tour with whale watching or an ATV adventure. This truly could be the adventure of a lifetime! Prices are per person, so plan in advance.

Children as young as 6 years old can ride the zipline, but there are weight minimums and maximums to ensure guest safety. So the next time you’re looking for adventure, head to the Icy Strait Point zipline!
