The next time you’re craving something fresh out of the oven, head on over to this little gem in downtown Homer.
Portside Coffee & Co. is a fantastic coffee shop right on Pioneer Avenue. Filled to the brim with coffees, teas, and the best baked goods you’ve ever had, you need to try this next time you’re craving something delicious.
You’ll find all manner of treats at their bakery, both savory and sweet.
They’re most famous for their scones, cinnamon buns, and muffins. But you’ll also find brownies, empanadas, danishes, and pinwheels. There are also gluten free options, so be sure to ask about them if you’re interested.
Their coffees are just as good as their pastries.
They use local roaster Kaladi Bros. Coffee, and you can tell! All of their coffee creations are smooth, tasty, and have a punch.
They also offer a unique selection of chaga drinks.
They use wild harvested Alaskan chaga, which boasts many unique properties and nutrients. You can order it in your tea, latte, or even a hot cocoa!
If you have a craving, make sure you get down there nice and early.
They frequently sell out of all of their most popular bakery items by as early as 10:00 a.m. In this case, the early bird does indeed get the worm.
Pick up a delicious hot coffee and your favorite breakfast baked goods five days a week.
You can hit their drive thru window Mondays, and Wednesdays through Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. through 3:00 p.m. They’re also open Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. through 2:00 p.m. They’re closed on Tuesdays and Sundays.
