Camping is always on an Alaskan summer to do list! There are so many great campgrounds around the state, that it can be hard to narrow down to a favorite. This Alaska campground however combines the luxury of hot showers with the wildness of Alaska’s great beauty, right on creek side campsites!
Glennallen is located in the interior of the state, at the crossroads of the Richardson Highway and Glenn Highway. This campground is located a good drive off of those highways, so you can get a true wilderness feel.
This peaceful setting is quiet, and very private as each site abuts the water. They also have a little general store in case you’ve forgotten anything you may need!

In fact, this amazing campsite has 100 campsites! There are 80 RV creek front campsites and 20 tent campsites. These gorgeous spaces are large, to give you plenty of room from your neighbors.

Every weekend they have themed activities for kids, and the quiet hours are enforced at night.
