El Taco Shop is a tiny Mexican restaurant that's located within a strip mall in Montgomery, Alabama.
El Taco Shop offers 10 meat flavors for their tacos, including Azada (steak strips), Al Pastor (marinated pork), Carnitas (deep-fried chopped pork), Chorizo (Mexican sausage), Pollo Adovado (marinated chicken), Tripa (beef intestines), Res Y Cabeza (beef roast), Lengua (beef tongue), Buche (pork stomach), Aldilla (pork belly), Camaron (shrimp), and Campechana (steak and chorizo). Tacos come in a corn tortilla and start at just $2.00 each.
In addition to the 10 meat flavors, you can also add a variety of toppings to your tacos from the restaurant's toppings bar. This lets you create even more types/flavors of tacos.
The tacos can be ordered a la carte or as part of a combo. The combo listed below includes a taco, a tamale, elote (street corn), and a serving of rice and beans.
