During your stay, I would also recommend the nearby Martin Creek Falls trail -- if, that is, you can pull yourself away from the private waterfall right outside of your cabin's windows.

If you are looking for a big family getaway to the Great Smoky Mountains, the Waterfall Woods Lodge is one of the best options. With enough room to host 16, you can bring along your family and closest friends. The waterfall is only steps away from the backyard so you will be able to hear it while you soak in the hot tub or as a backdrop to the crackling campfire at night.
