The town of Bethlehem, New Hampshire has no direct connection to its better-known counterpart city, but its current name was chosen in honor of Jesus’ birthplace on Christmas Day of 1799. Our Bethlehem doesn’t quite have the long history, but still celebrates the Christmas season to the fullest.
Winter in Bethlehem is probably one of the most spectacular times of the year. The clear air gives way to the beautiful mountain views as the summits become blanketed with fresh snow.
The Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests' northern outpost, The Rocks, offers up the opportunity to cut your won Christmas tree from their expansive fields, as well as purchase pre-cut trees and handmade wreaths.
