If you’ve ever been lucky enough to go to Italy, you know that the local cuisine is simple, often containing very few ingredients… but because everything is fresh and flavorful, it’s some of the most delicious food on Earth. Fortunately, we’ve got some great Italian restaurants here in Washington that cost much less than a flight to Florence, and some of them use the same tasty techniques. But the brand new Enzo’s Bistro & Bar in Issaquah just might top them all.

It isn't easy opening a new restaurant in the middle of a global pandemic, but Enzo's has managed to do just that.

The eatery opened its doors in early September. And despite not being able to host traditional opening events, they've been doing quite well.
Enzo's is located at 120 NW Gilman Blvd. in downtown Issaquah, in the former Pogacha building.

You can feel safe dining indoors here, thanks to the state-of-the-art ultraviolet HVAC system installed to help keep everyone safe.
But if you do choose to dine outdoors -- which, thanks to heat lamps, you should be able to do for awhile -- you won't be disappointed.

The patio is set for social distancing in a garden-like setting, with plants and string lights creating a European vibe.
The restaurant is owned by by iconic West Coast Restaurateur Hal Griffith, the founder of Great Western Pacific Inc. The company owns local landmarks like the Crab Pot and Miner's Landing at Pier 57.

And with Chef Nick Novello and his pasta-making team in the kitchen, you're guaranteed a great meal.

The beef is dry-aged onsite, the sausage is made in-house, and the rotisserie chicken is out of this world. And if you imbibe, you'll love the impressive wine selection.
