Welcome to Seven Bridges Trail!

Tucked away in Grant Park lives Seven Bridges: a man-made trail that is simply out of this world.

Seven Bridges is part of the Milwaukee County Parks system, and features trails weaving in and out of Grant Park. The Seven Bridges State Trail is a roughly 1-mile man-made loop.
This trail dates back to the 1900s.

Frederick C. Wulff, who served as the first Superintendent of Horticulture for the Milwaukee parks, lived on the land, and built the foundation for what is now the Seven Bridges Trail.
There are limestone staircases, footbridges, and more!

The 1-mile loop that makes up the majority of the trail features footbridges and limestone staircases, making this trail a unique mixture of made-made and natural land. Beneath the bridges, a ravine has formed. If you get brave enough you can jump across the limestone rocks!

The trail breaks off into several other trails, such as the famous Oak Leaf Trail. Whether you're looking for a long hike or a leisurely stroll around this loop, Seven Bridges is always one beautiful place to start.
And it leads to the breathtaking Grant Park Beach.

Grant Park is located at 100 Hawthorne Avenue in South Milwaukee. If you take the east entrance off of South Lake Drive and Park Avenue and follow the road to a covered bridge, you’ll find the entrance to Seven Bridges. The trail is open during regular park hours.
