What Was Photographed At Night In North Dakota Is Almost Unbelievable

It is hard to truly capture the beauty of the night through photography, but it can and has been done in North Dakota. Here are some awesome examples of nighttime photography in the state that are almost surreal. So cool!

6. This great horned owl was perched on a tree in Fort Stevenson State Park in the middle of the night.

7. Nightlife and neons in downtown Fargo.

8. The last rays of the sun, already disappeared behind the horizon, reflect golden light off these clouds against the dark night sky.

9. Due to cold winter temperatures, light is diffused by frozen crystals to form these pillars of light - taken in Grand Forks.

10. Lightning from a late North Dakotan summer storm well past midnight is caught in this spectacular shot.
