This 2-Acre Lagoon In Texas Is Everything You Need For An Unforgettable Summer
Land Tejas is building an 8-acre luxury pool area in Houston, featuring beaches, a clubhouse, and more.
Sun, sand, and beautiful water is starting to sound pretty good as it warms up outside. A vacation to the Caribbean is nice and all, but what if we could bottle up that exotic, tropical vibe and bring it right here to Texas? Land Tejas, a Houston-based construction company, has done just that and broke ground on one of the largest, most luxurious neighborhood pools in the state. See for yourself:
The pool area itself will span 8 acres, featuring two beaches, a clubhouse, welcome center, park, space for outdoor events, and even a courtyard for food trucks. This will all be located in the 580-acre neighborhood.
Expected to stay open year-round, Crystal Lagoon sets itself apart from many other community pools in the Houston area. What's the point of shutting down for winter when Southeast Texas only gets about two weeks of cold anyway?
Just in case it doesn't sound enticing enough yet, Michael Phelps himself has partnered with the company and will be attending the opening ceremony, which is tentatively set for Memorial Day. If you've been considering a move to the Houston area, there couldn't be a better time to make it happen!
Check out this video showing a simulation of what the lagoon will look like:

Homes start at about $200,000 - a relatively low price considering the status and amenities of the neighborhood. Not looking to move anytime soon? Don't fret! Residents can bring guests to the pool, so just get to know someone who lives here and you too can enjoy this oasis in the city.
