North America’s Longest Racetrack Will Soon Be Found in the Nevada Desert

As if there wasn't already enough thrill and adventure waiting for us out in Nevada's deserts, North America's largest professional racetrack is located inside a small town just west of Las Vegas. Currently, the world's largest is the Nürburgring Grand Prix Racetrack in Germany, a total of 13.1 miles long. Inspired by that number and looking to make a record of his own, one man has set out to create one of the largest things in Nevada and the largest in North America, too. Plus, it’s in the middle of the desert in the town of Pahrump. And we're not talking just Go Karting (although they have that too). Like a scene out of Mad Max, this is one place that's more than worthy of being added to your bucket list. Just over an hour west of Las Vegas in the town of Pahrump is a luxury racetrack that's every car enthusiast's dream. Out in the desert, surrounded by open spaces and mountains, the Spring Mountains Motorsports Ranch was bought by entrepreneur John Morris back in 2004. The resort-style racetrack offers memberships to this little slice of paradise, where you'll have guaranteed track time and incredible amenities at your fingertips. In addition to access to the race track, driving lessons, and races to watch, the resort also offers a golf course, luxury condos, and a clubhouse to unwind in.

The resort is determined to be something out of every car lover's dream; you can even find two driving schools here that will have you driving in some of the most high-performance vehicles. If you've always dreamed of speeding down a race track like a professional, now is your chance.

After purchasing more property, Morris is now on his way to making Spring Mountain the home of North America's largest racetrack. With original plans to be a total of 15 miles long, the groundbreaking racetrack is nothing short of epic. Morris has also reported that there will be a six-mile off-road desert course for ATVs and trucks. Why stop at fancy cars? Here you can have your choice of vehicle. With a 6,000-foot drag race track and go-kart racetrack that are coming to Spring Mountain as well!
